Linked to my travel blog: zephyra.travellerspoint.com (still working on completing it, lots of stories to tell from Sept 09 vacation!) — My first night in that Marseille youth hostel (by far the best one there and one of the best youth hostels ever). That night, lots of people were around, it was great and so easy to meet folks from Russia, Spain, China, Germany, Argentina, etc. There was a hyper French-African guy manning the bar, full of jokes. The hostel also has its own cafeteria, computers with internet, and table soccer (which I ruled). These guys rectified my previous impression of Belgians–they were so open (sometimes too much!).
