Beer In Belgium –
History
Beer has been made in Belgium since the Middle Ages. It is believed today that beer was brewed at some monasteries during this period; however, no written proof exists.[citation needed] The Trappist monasteries that now brew beer in Belgium were occupied in the late 18th century primarily by monks fleeing the French Revolution. However, the first Trappist brewery in Belgium (Westmalle) did not start operation until 10 December 1836, almost 50 years after the Revolution. That beer was exclusively for the monks and is described as “dark and sweet.” The first

Euclid Hall Denver, Colorado’s Best Beer Bar –
Article by Marc Bayes
1317 14th street (Denver) has held a variety of establishments over the years. From the legendary Soapie Smith’s, to the “I can’t remember what happened last night” at Martini Ranch, and finally “that was the best meal I’ve ever had” at Euclid Hall. Less than a year old Euclid Hall has blown away the competition in not only a variety of great food but some of the best beers Colorado has ever seen.
While beer bars are quickly becoming the establishment to open and

Beer by Monks, Cats in the Belfry – Normal For Belgium! – belgium festivals
A jester throws toy cats down from the belfry of Ieper on the second Sunday in May. Meanwhile in a parade, dozens of floats and 2,000 actors explore and present the role of the cat in history, literature, and folklore. This is the famous Cat festival of Belgium, an event which happens every 3 years. It is just one of the surprises awaiting the visitor who expects simple normality in this country which is often perceived as straight-laced as befits a city

Five Killed and 140 Injured at Belgium Music Festival –
At least five people have been killed and more than 140 others have been injured (10 of them seriously) when a stage of Belgium’s Pukkelpop music festival collapsed during a heavy storm. The Chateau stage was totally destroyed by some giant crashed trees due to strong winds while American band the Smith Westerners were playing. This is the second deadly incident at outdoor music events in just a single week. Last Saturday, a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis had killed five people

Lovely Lille’s Central Landmarks – landmarks in belgium
Yes, Lille is a very lovely city. It is actually renowned for its beauty more than anything, but still provides a gracious number of awesome attractions for tourists. The city is only moderate in size, and is found in the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France. It sits just across from the French-Belgium border.
Even though the city is a moderate sized town by European standards, it is still the fifth largest centre in France. Therefore, tourists can fly into the conveniently positioned Lille Lesquin International Airport. However,
